How I Got Here

I didn't take the traditional agency route - I've built things, fixed things, and learned what actually works through doing. This timeline covers the key moments that shaped my approach.

2010

Education

I graduated from college with a degree in Marketing, enjoying the creative aspects of marketing, business strategy and economics.

2012

Operations

I worked in logistics and became an Operations Manager at Pepsi for a few years. I appreciated the experience, but was looking for something more.

2016

Marketing

I finally got a job with a local marketing agency, Mullin/Ashley, in Maryland, where I learned from a great marketing team and quickly gained technical skills in marketing and development. They offered to make me a partner but I declined - sensing the opportunity wasn't quite right and wanting to move back to New Hampshire.

2021

Development

Setting my sights high and wanting to increase my development skills, I took a remote job with Designit, moved back to New Hampshire, and became a Senior Developer leading projects for Microsoft, Best Buy, Costco, the Canadian Railroad, the LA Airport, and other reputable companies.

2024

Specializing

Realizing I had accumulated an advanced and specialized skillset, and Designit being bought out by an overseas company, I set my sites on building my own business, consulting, and freelancing with local businesses.

What Else I Like To Do

It's true - I like to do other things sometimes! I've been married for over 15 years and have 4 fun, very smart kids. We love to play board games together - especially on Sunday afternoons when we get together with the rest of our family in town.

I serve as a deacon at our church in Concord, New Hampshire. It's been an incredible experience - getting the focus off myself and on others. You may also see me coaching a community soccer team from time-to-time, and I enjoy competing in Spartan races (they keep me motivated to exercise)!
